Issued "Czechoslovak Air Force" Overcoat
9/11 for the Czechoslovak Air Force Fandom
Apologies if the title misled you. The sorting team was absolutely crushed to find out these are simply Swedish M39-58 Overcoats made to resemble mid-century Czechoslovak Air Force uniforms. While the Czechoslovak AF enjoys the most die-hard enthusiasts in the surplus community, AP hopes at least some will settle for the not-so-clever forgery.
Hailing from a prop house, these uniforms were likely a workaround for representing the Warsaw Pact on the big screen. Seemingly intended for background characters, the original Swedish buttons have been left intact, with the addition of a patch and epaulets being the only real distinction.
